Know Fear, Know Risk, No Limits

I am a firm believer of the No Risk No Rush ethos. However there is a fine line between a fulfilling rush of knowing that you are ‘getting your system out there’ and that sense of dreaded fear. Fear and Risk Management is how we stay on the right side of this line. Every risk we take is calculated as much as possible but with the knowledge and respect that you can’t predict every aspect in the environment. It is  this that makes us Adventure Athletes rather then mere adrenaline junkies. This concept is true in the outdoors environment as well as the economic one. If you feel that you company shares these values then please get intouch.

If you would like to sponsor me in any way shape or form I would be keen to talk. I have advertising space available on my kit, boat, paddle and helmet. I also have advertising space on my home page, this one, in the articles I write and the in the talks I do. Please see the Media and Talk pages on this site.

One of my ambitions with this site is to get the incredible sport of expedition kayaking recognized to all extreme adventure enthusiasts out there. If you are in a position to help me achieve this then please get in touch.

My last few expeditions have had several sponsors who are credited in each expedition section.

We managed to get on live local Venezuelan TV and also on National News after we completed our first successful first descent. It was a very amusing experience to say the least. You can see the footage of the interview in a film Stu Martindale made of our trip - which is available on the Films page.
Hindustan Times - The Hindustan Times interviewed us after helping the Army retrieve bodies from the Sutjej River after a bridge collapse tragedy.
