Big mission! 75km sea kayak and hike to get to the river and 4 days slogging up the river with 45kg of kit. Finally we found ourselves at the glacier of this demanding untouched Greenlandic river with gravity finally on our side- although a bit too much on our side at times!

A month of cruising around the rivers of southern Chile, finishing at the legendary Futaleufu River.

A 2 week trip to the world famous water falls and slides of Norway.
My first true expedition with minimal planning we pulled off several demanding multi-day first descents submerged in the jungle with some very lucky escapes and even managed to get on Venezuelan TV. The trip finished with some amazing paddling on the mighty Orinoco River.

I was selected as leader of the Four Borders Expedition- the second British Universities Kayak Expedition. This was to be my first higher profile expedition and proved to be a huge success, what could go wrong with 8 students kayakers anyway? From first descents in the Mongolian desert to 6 days on Siberian rivers and even a cheeky bandit run in Kazakhstan!....high five.

2 months of Helicopter kayaking, waterfalls, incredible rivers and few parties.

A month kayaking in Northern India and on The Ganges and also helping the Indian Army in a very sobering incident

A young impressionable 18 year old at the start of my gap year - covered most of the classic Himalayan rivers, met the legendary Babu and even got my first first descent.
